Taser

I sometimes look into the meaning of proverbs or sayings and even on occasion one of my favorites, acronyms.

As one of the most popular non lethal weapons in the world, lets look at TASER for a minute or two.

How about TASER, “Thomas A Swift’s Electric Rifle”.

Tom Swift, who’s middle name is actually unknown, was a fictional character depicted in a series of children’s books created by Stratemeyer Syndicate in the early 20th century.

The fictional electric rifle, the taser, used by Tom Swift in the book series was capable of firing adjustable volts of electricity.

Sound pretty familiar.
