My fiancee is in the insurance business. His specialty is lorry insurance and he is quite experienced at knowing the special needs that these large vehicles require. Drivers without extensive experience tend to cause damage to other vehicles and property when they do not allow themselves enough room to turn the large lorry. Some roads are very old and are not properly designed to handle large haulage trucks these days. Europeans face these challenges on a daily basis because of the antiquity of some of their roadways.
