The senior students of a provincial school are holding a fundraising activity for the benefit of the out of school youths in their community. The students were requested to bring old stuffs from home that can be recycled. Many students bought old stuffs from their homes, newspapers, empty plastic bottles, etc. A bake sale which consists of cookies, cupcakes and candies, were also organized by the students. Students also brought old books to be sold during the activity. There were books on history, Gift IDEAS, novels, literature, and many more. It was a two-day affair held in the school grounds. All the proceeds of the fundraising activity will go to those youths who wish to go to school but due to financial problems wouldn’t be able to do so. The students’ purpose for this activity is to share with their fellow youths a portion of what they’ve been so blessed to have and to give them a chance to have a better future.
