Commercial Loans Worries

As if I did not already have enough stuff to worry about, I just discovered that commercial loans really are not readily available from any of the traditional banks anymore. Sure they say that they are lending and ready to provide a helping hand, but I just read in several reports that most banks have discovered that they can make so much money in a short period of time from the financial markets that they probably figure why bother with a few bucks from small business financing. Of course the same reports emphasize that these other investment activities have a lot of risks, but the banks are still going down that road instead of spending much time with commercial loans.
