Comparing Sony Ericsson cell phone’s power consumption with other cell phone makers based on personal experience
Smart phones are becoming more and more popular in our everyday lives. We hear Apple iPhones and Blackberries making headlines all the time and are starting to dominate the cell phone industry. If Sony doesn’t do anything to improve their Ericsson brands, then pretty soon that name will become obsolete. One idea they can work on is trying to develop some sort of connection with the ultra popular PS3 video game system. Since video games had become a big part of today’s culture, and Sony’s PS3 is leading the industry in this category, and their Blu-ray players had just won the high-def format war, they should use make a connection to Ericsson cell phones and use that momentum to bring back a chunk of the market shares. They can do something like making the Ericsson being able to function as a PS3 controller, or use it as a memory card to save and load game files so you can transfer it from PS3 to PS3. If they can make that connection it will help Sony Ericsson last a few more years.
