I Stopped Complaining About Winter When I Got my Snowboard and Bindings

Anyone would have thought I was being sentenced to hard labor when I found out my company was transferring me to a snowy climate.  I had lived my entire life in warm places and thought all my fun was over.  I wasted my first winter in the new city because I stayed indoors and complained about the cold.  The next winter my friends gave me a snowboard and burton bindings for Christmas.  They taught me to snowboard and I loved it.  For the next two months I was outdoors everyday after work and on weekends and, to everyone’s great relief, have not complained since.
