The conversation I had with Vance

The other day I went to a new restaurant called the Welcome Sign. I heard that they made a very good hot pastrami sandwich and that really appealed to me. I walked up there with my friend Vance who works in a commercial building very close to where I work. While we were walking to the diner/restaurant Vance started talking to me about the UK stamp duty article he had recently read in one of the many financial newspapers that he subscribes to. I found the information to be kind of interesting because I didn’t realize that these duties had that long of history.
