Not Everyone Knows They Have The Right to Sue When They Are Injured

I believe that many people do not know their legal rights and I saw an example of this when I was living in Georgia.  A neighbor was seriously injured in a car accident.  She believed she had to figure out how to pay the doctors herself, and never considered suing.  I gave her the name of an excellent Atlanta auto accident attorney and, when she called him, he went to the hospital to talk to her.  The lawyer explained my neighbor’s rights to her and assured her he only takes serious cases like hers.  He treated her with kindness and, when the insurance company offered a settlement he felt was too low,  offered to go to court for a fair settlement.  Eventually a reasonable settlement was reached and a lovely lady got justice.
