My Childhood Home
My mom has decided she wants to move into a senior retirement community. She is still physically able to get around on her own, but she wants companionship. She has been lonesome since my dad passed away two years ago. My husband and I offered to let her move in with us but she doesn’t want that. Her preference is to be around people her own age with similar interests. Now my husband and I are considering purchasing her house to live in. I was shocked to learn that not only would I need a real estate agent, I’m also going to have to look into Charleston home inspectors. I thought this would be a quick sale but it doesn’t look like it.
