Crawl Out from Under High Heating Bills
There are a lot of creepy places around the house. Places that seem to exist only to attract dust and insects and other things I would rather not think about. I was forced to think about these spaces when I reviewed our energy use. We had to do something to increase our heating efficiency. Taking the effort and insulating crawl spaces seemed like an easy idea that had great potential to save money on heating. Cold in moves in from the crawl space and warm air moves out of the house into the crawl space. Proper insulation stops that air exchange.
